Earth Day is tomorrow and organizations in Tucson are taking part in the world wide event. One of the groups is looking to 'Seed your Soul'.

The Tucson Village Farmis hoping to teach people to care about the environment and themselves.

"It's a day of helping, connecting, protecting and appreciating our environment," says Veronica Simon with the Tucson Village Farm.

The Seeding your Soul festival was organized by 4-H healthy living ambassadors from local high schools.

The ambassadors will lead people through different stations including mental health, yoga, meditation and much more.

Throughout the years, the Tucson Village Farm program provided by the U of A cooperative extension brings thousands of kids and families through their farm located at 4210 N. Campbell Avenue.

"They learn about how to grow food in the desert," says farmer manager, Alexandra Atkin. "They learn ways to live healthy lifestyles and that's mostly by eating the fresh fruits that we grow here."

The goal is to inspire children to make healthy choices at a young age.

The celebration begins Saturday, April 22 at the UA Agricultural Center from 9 A.M. - 12 P.M.
