SAVING WITH $AM: Free entertainment at the library

Posted

The library is one of the best places to find all sorts of free entertainment.

Good Morning Tucson anchor Samantha Cortese shows you how you can find e-books, movies, magazines and audio books at public libraries.

You can also get tickets to the Arizona Opera and Tucson Botanical Garden for free with the library's Culture Pass.

If you're into gardening, you can also find seeds at the library. The idea is to grow your plants, then harvest some new seeds and bring them to the library for others to eventually use.

There are also classes for teens to learn to code, play Dungeons and Dragons and take advantage of free wifi.

And parents can enroll their kids in free summer reading programs.

Not that learning stops in grade school. There are a variety of classes available to all ages, covering such topics as yoga, landscaping and dog psychology.

For more information, visit library.pima.gov or call 791-4010.
