TUCSON, Ariz. — Tucson Unified School District is taking another step toward career technical education.
Santa Rita High School broke ground Friday on a new CTE facility for students. Leaders at TUSD say the ceremony shows the district's commitment to career and technical education, and its relevance to district students.
One freshman student says the connections she makes with professors and the ability to be open-minded are what make the CTE program so helpful.
"I, myself, want to be a business person, and it helps a lot to have that kind of inspiration, and to have the knowledge to be that," she said.
