The Salvation Army held its annual Child Spree event at JCPenny Saturday morning.
This year, 122 kids signed up for the event.
The spree provides each child with a back-to-school clothing budget of $100.
The children we are helping are from low income families and need our assistance for the upcoming school year. You are giving a child confidence and the tools they need to succeed, said Captain David Oh, The SalvationArmy Tucson Area Coordinator.
After the children finished shopping for clothes, each received a brand-new backpack filled with school supplies.
