As we head into the holidays The Salvation Army is asking for the public's help to feed hungry families.

With only two weeks left before Thanksgiving, the organization is asking for food donations.

The Salvation Army is asking for turkeys, stuffing, instant potatoes, cranberry sauce, canned vegetables, pre-cooked pies, rolls, and beverages.

They expect to serve more than 1,500 meals.

You can drop off any food donations at the Salvation Army at 1002 North Main Avenue Monday through Friday from 8 a.m. until 4:30 p.m.

If you wish to donate money, you can mail a check to the location.
