TUCSON, Ariz.-- Sahuaro High School had a brief lock down after reports of a student with a gun on campus on Tuesday.
Sahuaro Principal Robert Estrella sent an email out to parents detailing the incident that occurred shortly before dismissal.
In it he says that they were able to locate the individual within three minutes and found no gun on the student.
"The safety of our students remain our top priority," wrote Estrella. "I appreciate the quick response of our faculty, staff and students had during today’s lock down. This helped us to respond to the situation very efficiently."
