Three out of four child car seats are installed incorrectly, according to AAA.
In an effort to help parents and caregivers make sure their child's car seats are installed correctly Safe Kids Pima County will be holding several car seat fittings throughout Tucson.
Safe Kids Pima County is also working to spread the message that car seats are really a 10-year commitment.
Through the car seat fitting those with Safe Kids Pima County want to shed light on some of the biggest mistakes and misconceptions people have when it comes to car seats.
“The most common mistake I see is people are installing car seats with both seatbelts and lower anchors," said Jessica Mitchell, with Safe Kids Pima County.
