The effects of the government shutdown are being felt by visitors to Sabino Canyon.
While people can still hike and walk around, they cannot park their cars in the lot because the U.S. Department of Agriculture office is closed.

A posted sign alerted visitors that the recreation facility will reopen when funding is restored.
