The Rucker Fire burning near the Douglas Ranger District is 90 percent contained.
The lightning caused fire began on June 7.
According to the Coronado National Forest, the fire is estimated to have burned 1,130 acres.
The Rucker Fire still has some persistent smokes remaining in steep rocky terrain.
Firefighters will continue to monitor the fire until it is fully contained.
