The Rose Canyon Campground will be back open to the public beginning Friday morning at 7 a.m.
Rose Canyon was closed to the public on June 11.
According to the Arizona Game and Fish Department, a bear had been spotted twice by campers. The campers even came face to face with the bear as it attempted to enter their trailer.
