TUCSON (KGUN9-TV) - A rollover has sent two people to the hospital with serious injuries and caused roads to close on the southwest side, according to the Arizona Department of Public Safety.
Authorities say two people were in the Volkswagen Beetle when the car rolled at the intersection of Ajo Highway and Kinney Road. Both were transported to a local hospital with head trauma.
The intersection is shut down. The westbound lanes of Ajo are blocked and eastbound lanes are still open, said DPS.
Authorities are not sure when the roads will reopen at this time.
