COCHISE COUNTY, Ariz. — The Rock fire west of Portal is at an estimated two acres in Rock Canyon near Cochise County.
Engine and crews are monitoring the fire from a distance due to its remote area and terrain.
The U.S. Forest Service is working to determine the growth of the fire and if the fire will move out of Rock Canyon.
The fire will be monitored throughout the day.
