The Tucson Roadrunners captured their first win in franchise history Friday night as they beat the Stockton Heat by a score of 2-1.
The Roadrunners were trailing 1-0 entering the third period until Craig Cunningham recorded his third goal of the season.
Brendan Perlini played the part of hero as he beat Heat goaltender Jon Gillies with a wrist shot in overtime giving the Roadrunners a 2-1 victory.

Roadrunners goaltender Marek Langhamer recorded 43 saves.
