PHOENIX (AP) - Police say that two people are in stable condition after an apparent road-rage shooting Wednesday night that led to the closure of part of a state highway.
The Arizona Republic reports that police closed the Agua Fria Freeway stretch of Loop 101 at Thomas Road shortly before 10 p.m. because of the shooting.?
Arizona Department of Public Safety spokesman Raul Garcia issued a tweet saying that two people were shot in the incident. He says the suspects were traveling in a silver vehicle.
The Republic says it's not clear when the road will reopen.
