PCSD says the Catalina Highway has reopened at Mount Lemmon.

The Catalina Highway to Mount Lemmon is currently closed due to heavy congestion up the mountain, the Pima County Sheriff's Department said in a social media post.
The roadway is expected to reopen at 3:15 p.m. today, Jan. 9.
Motorists should avoid the area and expect delays; we will provide updates when the road reopens.
