Congratulations are in order for the Rincon University High School Ranger Marching Band.
The marching band placed second at the Arizona Band and Orchestra Director's Association State Championships in Glendale, Ariz. on Saturday.
The Rincon/University High School Ranger Marching Band was the only Tucson band in any of the divisions to make it to the top ten.
With the 2nd place win, the Ranger Marching Band accomplished their highest placement, under the direction of Jeff Marchant.
The bands final performance is on November 24 at the Rincon University High School Auditorium at 7 p.m. Donations for the band program will be accepted.
