Part of the Rillito River Path will be closed Friday for paving work.
Crews will be working on the path from Camino de la Tierra to where the new bridge connects to the existing path.
The work zone will be closed to pedestrians and cyclists from 6 a.m. to 4 p.m. Drivers are asked to use an alternate route.
The improvement project is expected to be completed by the end of September.
