Congresswoman Martha McSally told the Wall Street Journal that she was sexually abused as a teen by her high school track coach.
In the story published Monday, McSally says the coach manipulated her to keep her quiet.
The journal said the school identified the track coach at the time of the alleged abuse as Jack Dwyer.
McSally told someone about the abuse and the school fired Dwyer.
He denied the allegations and called her "nuts".
McSally said she left Rhode Island and joined the Air Force Academy to get away from the coach.
