The University of Arizona's Flandrau Planetarium had it's grand re-opening of it's theater on Saturday.
The new theater has new and more seats, a new projector, darker walls, and sound improvements as well.
People lined up to see shows in the newly renovated theater at a discounted rate.
The Planetarium is open on Sunday's from 12 p.m. until 5 p.m.
TUCSON, Ariz. (AP) - The University of Arizona will debut its renovated planetarium on Saturday.
The now-named Eos Foundation Theater at the Flandrau Science Center and Planetarium now has a state-of-the-art digital projection system.
Renovations took place over the summer and include new seating, sound, lighting and layout.
Admission to all exhibits will be free on Saturday and planetarium shows will cost $3.
