Two dogs that were found malnourished and wounded in March are now up for adoption.

PACC released the following statement Friday:

An Animal Protection Officer with PACC picked up the dogs, BlueBarry and Breezy , as strays on March 19 and brought them back to the shelter. Due to the severity of her wounds, BlueBarry went to a foster home shortly after arriving at PACC. Breezy, however, recovered at PACC and was put up for adoption, where she continues to wait for her forever home.

BlueBarry returned from her foster home on April 19. Now that she’s recovered from her wounds, PACC altered her and performed dental surgery. She will be moved out of the clinic later this afternoon and will be available for adoption by the weekend.

The Pima Animal Care Center says Breezy and BlueBarry will be included in PACC's name your own adoption fee happening through April 22nd.
