A Green Valley woman was bitten by a rattlesnake Tuesday evening, while walking in her backyard.
According to a social media post from Santa Rita Fire District, paramedics responded to the home in the area of Desert Bell and La Cañada. Crews provided medical care and transported the victim to Banner University Medical Center for treatment.
SRFD was able to safely capture the snake.
