TUCSON (KGUN9-TV) - Some rare historical images of migrant workers are now on display in Tucson.
They are part of two brand new art exhibits at the Tucson Desert art museum.
One is titled " The Bittersweet Harvest" and this is a painting of the bracero program when milllions of mexican men came to the United States on short term labor contracts.
The other one is called "The Dirty Thirties." This explores the journeys of rural migrants fleeing the dust bowl.
The museum says the exhibits are timely in light of the U.S. border issues and the european migrant crisis.
