A puppy was stolen out of an owner's front yard on the south side near Irvington and Liberty, according to a Facebook post.
Cano Fuentes said that their Siberian husky puppy "Lobito" was taken from his yard when he took him out for a bathroom break last Friday.
Fuentes said the dog was taken two days before his daughter's birthday. He was planning to give the dog to her as a birthday present.
Lobito is described as white/gray, weighing under 20 pounds, and having medium hair length.
Fuentes said he is a full blooded husky with one blue eye and one black eye. He has a pink spot on the tip of his nose and a similar spot above his nose.
Tucson police say the incident most likely happened around 1:30 p.m. last Friday.
