TUCSON (KGUN9-TV) - A number of events are scheduled in Tucson this weekend to honor Prince.
On Friday, April 29 at 7 p.m. The Loft Cinema will be holding a sing-a-long of Prince's movie "Purple Rain."
Hotel and Club Congress will host a dance party beginning at 9 p.m. Organizers say if you come dressed as Prince you get in for free.
On Saturday, April 30 The Rialto Theatre will have a tribute concert. The event will be hosted by Kitty Katt McKinley, and will feature a number of musical groups including the Prince tribute act "The New Purple Generation."
