A suspect is in custody after President Donald Trump's star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame was destroyed Wednesday morning.
According to witnesses and police, the man allegedly started swinging a pickax that he brought in a guitar case around 3 a.m.. The suspect's name nor the charges he faces have been released.
In November 2016, President's Trump's star was vandalized in a similar way according to the ABC station in California. Days before the presidential election, a man dressed as a construction worker and used a sledgehammer and pickax.
