TUCson, Ariz. -- Power lines are down near East 1st Street and North 5th street and also at East Grant Road and North Stone Avenue.
Power lines have knocked down some fencing between East 6th Street and North 5th street.
The area has been blocked off.
Grant heading westbound has also been closed.
Tucson Electric Power is also reporting several power outages across the city.
Nearly 600 residents are out of power.
