Pima County officials have reversed course and now say they will fix a neglected Green Valley road.
KGUN9 viewer Nancy Lambert told Good Morning Tucson anchor Pat Parris about pavement buckling on Ward Lane. Parris relayed the problem to Pima County, which told him the road was not up to county standards and was the business's responsibility to repair.
Now county officials say they will maintain that part of the road. After an extensive search, it found that an improvement district was formed in 1984 that included the area. Businesses owners were assessed for paving improvements they say were never done.
Now county transportation crews are evaluating the problem and will repair it soon.
