Police trying to find suspect from shooting

Tucson Police believe this person was involved in yesterday's shooting near Park Place Mall. 

 

The man is described as a Hispanic male, 5'7", weighs 160 pounds and has tattoos on his neck and face

The shooting was a road rage incident between a driver and a pedestrian. The driver was shot as a result of the altercation.

When police arrived both the pedestrian and driver were not at the scene. The driver was transported to the hospital in a personal vehicle and has non life-threatening injuries. 

There are no suspects in custody at this time. The suspect involved in the shooting had fled the scene before police had arrived. 

Investigators determined that the victim and suspect got into a verbal argument near the mall. The victim and suspect walked across the street to continue their argument. 

Shots were fired and the victim was struck multiple times. At this time, the victim's injuries are non life-threatening. 

Police have spoken with the victim and several witnesses who were in the area at the time.
