Tucson police are asking for the public assistance in identifying a bank robbery suspect from Thursday.
Sgt. Kimberly Bay, spokeswoman for the department, says the suspect robbed the Washington Federal Bank at 4910 East Broadway.
Bay says the suspect entered the bank armed with a handgun and wearing a disguise. The suspect pointed the handgun at several tellers and demanded money.
The suspect was given an undisclosed amount of money and left the bank on foot.
Bay says the suspect was last seen southbound on Niven Avenue.

Bay says the suspect is described a white male, 5'9" to 6'0" and has a medium build.
He was last seen wearing overalls, a long sleeve plaid shirt, a reddish or auburn wig with ponytail, a dark baseball cap, and mirrored sunglasses.
