Police searching for suspects involved in nightclub assault

Tucson police are investigating a homicide that occurred just before 1:00 a.m. Sunday.

According to Sgt. Kimberly Bay with TPD, members of Tucson Fire Department responded to reports of an assault at Venom Nightclub located at 1104 S. Craycroft Rd.

A man was located in the restroom of the nightclub with signs of trauma.

The man was transported to Banner UMC with life-threatening injuries and died later that night. He has been identified as 64-year-old Tommy Hook.

Detectives have learned that Hook was inside the restroom when he was assaulted by two men. Police say he was knocked unconscious and left in the restroom.

The two suspects have been identified as 23-year-old Fredric Stephen Bayles and 33-year-old Davaress Davon Bolden.

Bayles is described as a white male, 6'5'', 210 pounds, with brown hair and brown eyes.

Bolden is described as a black male, 5'11'', 160 pounds with green eyes and brown hair.
