TUCSON, Ariz. — Tucson Police Department is investigating a deadly shooting that happened Thursday near the westside.
Police say officers were called to the area of 3100 block of N. Castro Avenue for a reports of gunshots heard in the area around 11 p.m.
Upon arrival officers found a deceased man in the roadway with obvious signs of gunshot trauma.
The victim has been identified as 29-year-old Ricardo Sandoval.
Detectives say witnesses told police they heard a vehicle speed away from the area following the gunshots.
Police say no suspects are in custody.
