Nogales Police is investigating a deadly shooting that happened at the Candlewood Suites on Shell Loop and Frank Reed Road.
NPD responded to a disturbance call at 11:20 a.m. this morning at the hotel and found an adult male believed to be in his mid-twenties. The man was pronounced dead on scene, according to NPD spokesman Robert Fierros .
The man suffered a gunshot wound and was found to be in company with a woman who is currently under investigation and cooperating with police.
There are no other suspects who are believed to be involved in this investigation.
Witness accounts and preliminary information obtained by NPD are cause to believe that this shooting could have been a suicide.
