Tucson Police are investigating the death of an infant who was found unresponsive by a worker at an in-home daycare Monday afternoon.
Sgt. Kimberly Bay of TPD said that the parents dropped their son off at the daycare earlier today and at about 1 p.m. the child was unresponsive.
Bay confirms that paramedics responded to the 7600 block of E. Fayette Street and transported the infant to a nearby hospital where he later died.
According to Bay there were no obvious signs of trauma and police won't know more until an autopsy is performed. No one is in custody.
