TUCSON, Ariz. — TUCSON, Ariz. -- The Tucson Police Department is investigating a deadly crash involving a motorcycle and SUV Saturday.
Officers were called to the intersection of 22nd and Houghton before 2 p.m. for a report of a serious injury collision.
According to TPD, 43-year-old Benjamin Secor was heading northbound on Houghton waiting to make a left turn onto 22nd Street. When the light turned green, Secor made the turn in front of a Jeep Wrangler heading southbound. The Jeep and motorcycle crashed. Secor died at the scene.
The driver of the Jeep stayed at the scene and cooperated with the investigation. TPD says speed does not appear to be a factor in the crash and the driver of the Jeep showed no signs of impairment.
