Tucson police are investigating a stabbing at a northside apartment complex.

According to spokesman Sgt. Pete Dugan, the stabbing took place at 3:45 a.m. Thursday at Stony Brook Apartments, 4225 N. First Ave.

Police spokesman Dan Lucas say a 17-year-old girl stabbed a 17-year-old boy. Both were treated for non-life threatening injuries and both have been detained. Lucas said police are sorting through their conflicting accounts of the incident to decide whether any arrests will be made.
