Tucson Police detectives are investigating the death of a 2-year-old boy found in a home across from Tucson High School.
Officer Dan Lucas with TPD said the death occurred near Sixth Street and Jacobus Avenue at about 8:30 a.m.
Foul play has not been ruled out. The cause of death is under investigation.
A crime scene unit and medical examiner responded to the scene along with detectives from the Child and Physical Abuse unit.
Police could not say whether or not the child's parents were home at the time.
