Police arrest woman for hitting 5 cars in Home Depot parking lot

Tucson police have arrested a woman after they say she struck five different vehicles in the Home Depot parking lot last week, according to Sgt. Kimberly Bay, a spokeswoman for the department. 

Bay says the incident happened on October 26th at the 7677 East Broadway location. 

Police say 56-year-old Rhetta Thoms was driving a blue 2006 Toyota Camry and struck five vehicles in the parking lot, she was not injured. 

Thoms' passenger, an adult man, was transported to the hospital with non-life-threatening injuries. 

Bay says one other adult man was in one of the vehicles at the time of the collision, he was not injured. 

Officers noticed signs and symptoms of impairment on Thoms and a DUI investigation was conducted. 

She was arrested for Felony Criminal Damage, additional charges may be added at a later date.
