Sierra Vista police say they have arrested a 28-year-old Bisbee man after investigating a report of sexual conduct with a minor.
The suspect has been identified as Daniel Ray Mock.
Police say on Saturday they received a call at 4:18 a.m. and were dispatched to the 900 block of Escondido Drive.
Responding officers interviewed a witness who said they had observed a man inside a residence having sexual relations with a 14-year-old girl.
Detectives then interviewed the girl, who admitted to having sexual intercourse and oral sex with Mock.
Mock was interviewed at the scene and denied having sexual relations with the girl, who he acknowledged was a minor and guessed her age to be about 15 or 16.
Police say Mock was arrested on two counts of Sexual Conduct with a Minor and was booked into the Cochise County Jail where he is being held on a $50,000 bond.
