The Tucson Police Department announced a new campaign to enhance DUI education efforts in the city of Tucson.
It's called the Know Your Limit campaign. The purpose is to deter people who have been drinking alcohol from getting behind the wheel.
Officers will do this by giving them educational materials and using preliminary breath tests.
The campaign was funded by a $25,000 grant from the Operating Under The Influence Abatement Council through the Governors Office of Highway Safety.
The ultimate goal is to reduce the number of impaired drivers on the road and the number of victims created by impaired driving.
This campaign will start on August 18 and it will be around the Kino Sports Complex area.
