MESA, AZ — A Pinal County Sheriff’s Office detention officer is on administrative leave after being arrested for sexual misconduct with a teen.
PCSO said the arrest was made by the Mesa Police Department this morning. The detention officer, who has not yet been named, has been with the department since 2009.
A PCSO spokesperson released the following statement:
“We take these allegations extremely seriously and we are working with the Mesa Police Department as well as conducting our own internal affairs investigation.”
