The Pima County Superior Court has appointed Kimberly A. Harris Ortiz, Esq. as a full-time Superior Court Judge Pro Tempore.
The position was formerly held by the honorable Casey F. McGinley, who was appointed by Governor Doug Ducey to the retained bench of the Superior Court earlier this year.
Ortiz will begin serving in mid-November.
Oritz has spent 25 years as a prosecutor. She has been an Assistant Attorney General in the Criminal Division of Tucson office since 2000.
Oritz was appointed by Presiding Judge Kyle A. Bryson.
