Pima County Sheriff's Department searching for bike bandit

The Pima County Sheriff's Department is searching for a man who robbed Hughes Federal Credit Union.

According to PCSD, the robbery took place March 15, 2017, at 10:50 a.m. at the 7970 N Thornydale location. When deputies arrived on the scene, the suspect had already left the bank.

After speaking with witnesses and reviewing surveillance footage, it's been determined that the suspect rode a BMX bike to the bank. Once he entered, he jumped over the teller's counter and demanded money and then left through the back door heading southbound.

The suspect is described as white, 20-30 years old, 5'8'', 140-150 pounds. He was last seen wearing a red, white and black motocross helmet, dark gray hooded sweatshirt, gray cargo shorts, black socks, and gray shoes.
