UPDATE 12/9:
The Pima County Sheriff's Department arrested 46-year-old Vicente Ulate in the desert north of Arivaca Friday after a week-long search.
PCSD says they learned Ulate was at a home east of Arivaca Friday afternoon.
Deputies searched the property, and around 8 p.m. Ulate was taken into custody after running into the desert.
Ulate is facing several charges including aggravated assault, domestic violence aggravated assault and a parole violation. PCSD says he could face more charges.
Ulate is in jail on a $150,000 bond.

UPDATE 12/3 (5:00):
The Pima County Sheriff’s Department has announced the identity of the suspect in a press release as 46-year-old Vicente Ulate.
Ulate is wanted on several felony assault and domestic violence warrants. Detectives also want to question Ulate in connection with a recent homicide in Arivaca.
On December 2, at approximately 2:00 p.m., detectives located Ulate in Arivaca.
When law enforcement attempted to take him into custody, Ulate fled into the desert north of the town.
Despite extensive search efforts involving the SWAT Team and the PCSD Air Unit, the search was ultimately unsuccessful.
The Sheriff’s Department is continuing its investigation and working to locate Ulate. They urge anyone with information about his whereabouts to call (520) 351-4900 or submit an anonymous tip to 88-CRIME.
UPDATE 12/3:
The Pima County Sheriff's Department says they cleared out after not finding the suspect Monday night, but are still investigating.
PCSD still has not provided a description of the suspect.

Pima County Sheriff's Department says they are searching the desert area near the town of Arivaca for a suspect believed to be "armed and dangerous."
