A man is in custody tonight after he fled a vehicle during an attempted traffic stop by the Pima County Sheriff's Department.
According to PCSD, two people fled the white Mustang and went in different directions after officers tried to pull the vehicle over near Interstate 10 and Cortaro Rd.
The driver has been caught and arrested for a narcotic drug violation and DUI.
Officials from PCSD say the driver's license has been suspended.
There is a heavy police presence around the Desert Sun Community Church tonight as police are searching the area for a second suspect.
