Pima County is closing an eastside park for extensive pond restoration.
Agua Caliente park will close Monday.
The closure will also include the ranch house visitor center and art gallery. This will go on for several months.
If you have visited the park recently you might have noticed that crew have been slowly draning the main pond.
The restoration will deepen the pond.
The county hopes this restoration will conserve water and improve habitat.
