TUCSON, Ariz. — The Pima Animal Care Center is rolling out a couple of programs to get their dogs out of the shelter. Or, at least, for a little while.

The program is dubbed the Day Trip/Pawjama Party program, in which Tucson residents can take certain dogs out for the day or even have them spend the night.

To participate, visit the PACC at 4000 N Silverbell Rd with your I.D. and pick up the Day Trips binder on the counter. Inside, select the dog you want to spend the day or night with, and get a staffer's attention.

To continue, PACC will have you sign two temporary foster agreements. If you sign the paperwork and meet the requirements, you're good to go.

For more information, the PACC can be reached at: (520) 724-5900
