October kicks off the second annual pillow drive for domestic violence victims.

The Oro Valley Police Department and the Golder Ranch Fire District is supporting the Law Enforcement Wives Club (LEWC) with the pillow drive.

October is Domestic Violence Awareness Month, and Emerge! is the only provider in Tucson for domestic abuse crisis intervention, housing, prevention, education and support.

Each year, Emerge! uses 1,000 pillows throughout its shelters. Now, LEWC has set a goal to provide Emerge! with enough pillows for a year.

New, standard size pillows, in the original package can be dropped of at any of the OVPD or GRFD stations until November 6th, 2018.
