PHOENIX (AP) - A freeway in Phoenix is closed as authorities investigate a reported carjacking during the morning commute.
Trooper Kameron Lee of the state Department of Public Safety says the incident that closed westbound Loop 202 possibly involved gunfire and is being investigated by Phoenix police, who did not immediately respond to a request for additional information.
Westbound traffic on the freeway was backed up behind the closure and being diverted onto off Loop 202 onto 32nd Street.
