PHOENIX (AP) - Authorities say a dead body of a person believed to have been a man has been found in a storm drain in north Phoenix.
Police say a cleaning crew found the body late Monday in a drain under a manhole near the Loop 101 freeway and North Seventh Avenue.
According to police, the body was in "a state of decomposition" and has been transported to the Maricopa County Medical Examiner's Office for a determination of cause of death.
