The department says that the person, whose identity was not released, died at the scene of the three-vehicle crash about 8 p.m. Sunday at 3434 S. 67th Ave.
Capt. Rob McDade says that a six-month-old boy, a 20-year-old woman and a 31-year-old man were taken to hospitals in critical condition. McDade says the other three victims - a 17-year-old girl and two women - were brought to hospitals with serious but non-life threatening injuries.
